What else do people ask about selling motorhomes?

Is it safe to sell your motorhome to a buyer?
Yes, provided you choose a reputable buyer with a proven track record. Always check that the company is registered and ask for references. At Mobilehome Verkopen, you receive a direct bank transfer, not cash, and you get a written agreement.
How is the value of a used motorhome determined?
The value depends on the brand, model, year, mileage, technical condition, and available options. The maintenance history and any damage also play a role. Our experts compare with current market data and give a realistic, fair price.
What happens to a purchased motorhome?
That varies by buyer. Some go for export, others are refurbished and resold. We assess each motorhome individually: models in good condition often get a second life, while older ones are sustainably dismantled for parts.
Can I sell my motorhome if it is in poor technical condition?
Absolutely. We specifically buy motorhomes with defects, damage, or high mileage. You don't need to make expensive repairs. Our offer takes into account the current condition, so you can get rid of it quickly and without extra worries.
How quickly can I sell my motorhome?
With us, the entire process can be completed within a few days. After you accept an offer, we schedule a pickup immediately. Often, the motorhome is on our transport truck the same week, and you have the money in your account.
What documents do I need to sell my motorhome?
You need the registration certificate (parts 1 and 2), the certificate of conformity, and your ID card. For foreign models, we sometimes ask for additional documents. Don't worry: we help you with the paperwork free of charge.

Frequently asked questions

Everything about picking up and paying for your motorhome

Do I need to prepare my motorhome for pickup?

Not at all. You don't need to clean, repair, or inspect the motorhome. Just leave it as is. Our inspection takes at most fifteen minutes and serves only to confirm the previously discussed condition.

How do I receive payment, cash or by transfer?

We only pay via direct bank transfer. During the pickup, we transfer the amount immediately. You'll see it in your account within a few minutes. This is safer than cash and leaves a traceable record.

Can I sell my motorhome if I no longer have the paperwork?

Often yes. Contact us and we'll find a solution together. Sometimes a duplicate can be requested. We guide you through the administrative process free of charge.

Do you also work on weekends or in the evenings?

Yes, we schedule pickups as flexibly as possible. Whether it's Saturday morning or a weekday after work, together we'll find a time that suits you. That way, you don't have to take a day off.

What if I have doubts after the offer?

Our offer is completely non-binding. You are not committed until we sign a purchase agreement on the spot. So you can take your time, consider other options, or ask for more information.

Do you also buy motorhomes with damage or from older model years?

Without a doubt. We specialize in all types of motorhomes, regardless of age or condition. Whether it's hail damage, a defective engine, or an interior from the 90s, we always make you a competitive offer.
