With a camper, there are three types of windows, each with its own story:

The windshield: for semi-integral and van conversions, this is a common van window that any glass specialist can install. For integral models, the panoramic windshield is model-specific, expensive, and sometimes has long delivery times.
Stars and cracks: have a star repaired immediately before it spreads; if there is a crack in the field of view, the technical inspection will fail the vehicle.
Acrylic windows in the living area: these crack due to age, hail, or a window slamming while driving. Universal replacement windows exist, but original windows for older models are sometimes only available second-hand.
